About the event
The Royal Canadian College of Organists Victoria Centre is excited to present Dr. Garry Froese, well-known expert on the voice, in a workshop entitled Lifelong Singing: Working with the Aging Voice, on Saturday, March 9, 2024.
Focusing on vocal production, Dr. Froese will address these topics:
- Singing (group participation)
- Breathing for Life!
- Use it or Lose It!
- Sing to Socialize not Isolate
- Vocal Technique: Safely and Effective Singing
- Care of the Aging Voice
When: Saturday, March 9, 10:00-11:30 am
Who: For Choral singers and Conductors
Admission: FREE
Registration: Available on https://www.rcco-victoria.org/ from Tuesday, Feb. 14 from 8am to March 5.
Deadline to register: Tuesday, March 5, 2024
Update Wednesday, March 6: Due to high demand, the registration deadline has been extended to Friday, March 8 at NOON, Drop-In Registration will be available at the door of the event.
