About the event

The Royal Canadian College of Organists Victoria Centre is excited to present Dr. Garry Froese, well-known expert on the voice, in a workshop entitled Lifelong Singing: Working with the Aging Voice, on Saturday, March 9, 2024.

Focusing on vocal production, Dr. Froese will address these topics:

  • Singing (group participation)
  • Breathing for Life!
  • Use it or Lose It!
  • Sing to Socialize not Isolate
  • Vocal Technique: Safely and Effective Singing
  • Care of the Aging Voice

When: Saturday, March 9, 10:00-11:30 am

Who: For Choral singers and Conductors

Admission: FREE

Registration: Available on  https://www.rcco-victoria.org/ from Tuesday, Feb. 14 from 8am to March 5. 

Deadline to register: Tuesday, March 5, 2024

Where: Centennial United Church, 612 David Street (Gorge Rd E & Hillside); wheel-chair accessible location

Parking: on David Street, and in the Sandman Hotel lot on Gorge Road, nearest the church
